Isolation

Isolation

I see all the colours in the rainbow which are beautiful, but they are the same colours every day.

My taste buds are alive with the sugary goodness of our home baking, But I could inhale a Mcdonald's bacon & egg Mcmuffin right now.

It looks like quiet roads, shut shops and no one is about.

It sounds like the news coming on telling us about COVID 19.

It feels lonely not seeing anyone.

  2. Ruby - we had McDonalds for lunch for Bella's birthday - once you have it again I think you'll find we have not really been missing anything. Great poem to record this strange time.

  4. Hello Ruby! Your isolation poem has captured how we are all feeling. It is a bit erie with it being so quiet and everything closed.

  5. Well done with your "Isolation" post. I particularly enjoyed your second verse and had a little giggle. You have described lockdown so well.
