🌏Climate change🌏

Climate change has been going on for awhile it has been changing our earth and destroying it that is why we need to stop this from happening.

What is climate change? Climate change is when there is a big difference in the earth over a long amount of time. The Earth's climate appears to be changing very fast and the faster it goes the more earth we lose.

One of our problems in climate change is the heat when the greenhouse gas goes into the air it makes the earth grow  hotter the hotter it gets the more ice we lose in Atactica,(New Zealands) glaciers and more. 

How can we stop this? We can stop it by stop cutting down trees, recycling your rubish and much more. 

I hope you know what climate change is doing to our earth it is killing it so we need to stop it before it gets worse.

Did you know that climate change is happening “yes it is happening”! One of our most serious problems is deforestation, most people think that deforestation is just cutting down trees well it's not just that. What is deforestation? Deforestation is when forests are destroyed by people cutting down or burning trees and not replacing them with others. Sometimes deforestation happens when people change lands into farms or build cities. Deforestation can kill a lot of things such as animals, people and habitats can it kill animals? Deforestation can lead to a loss of wildlife as well as their habitat. The more trees we lose the more food, wildlife and most of all our air we will be lost. How can we stop deforestation, there are some ideas about how we can stop deforestation one of them is to stop cutting down trees and stop burning them if you want to burn them you should plant more trees. I hope you now know why we should stop deforestation.we lose 50,000-100,000 trees each day. The more trees we lose the more oxygen we lose. By Ruby

One Summer's day Roxy and her family were moving into the city. Roxy's little brother Colen was going to an appointment at the doctors for his arm.

When it was over Roxy saw her new house. It was amazing but next door there was an old house which had broken windows and smashed doors.

She had a thought [that she had been in the old house before a long time ago but she thought again she has never been there before].

The next day she met some friends there names were Kyla,Tyla,and Milly at her new  high school and they decided to go and find out who lived there a long time ago.

When they went up to the doorstep they couldn't open the door they found a broken window so they jumped through.  When they got in to the house they all felt really scared and a bit hungry.

Suddenly they heard a big bang! They all swung around walked towards it, they peeked around the corner and saw a little rat then they heard  bash up stairs.

She quietly went up stairs, her friends behind her. When she came to three doors. When she came to the first door she opened the door and went in. it didn't look that bad, it looked like her old room when she was six

Her friends told her we should go home.  Roxy climbed out the window and ran home. When she was in bed she had a dream that the house was haunted and she used  to live there, she really wanted to see who used to lived in there.

The next day she was walking home and saw the old house she felt happy for some reason. When she got to the driveway she saw a police car.

She ran inside and saw what was going on, her mother was getting arrested for stealing a watch in the watch shop.

She ran in the room and said to the policeman ¨she has done nothing!¨ the policeman got her mother and chucked  Roxy out of the way.

When Roxy's father came home Colen told him what happened. Up stairs in Roxy's room she had another thought [that it was a haunted house]. 

The next day she went to the house, she stopped up stairs and went into the second room then slam! Roxy was never seen again.

🌊pollution🌊

Our oceans are getting affected by all the plastic that is going into the sea. The more plastic that goes into the sea the more animals will be extinct. 

First of all, what is pollution? pollution is when people put all of our rubbish into the dump they go into landfills then they fly away or even worse they get shifted into the sea.

Millions of rubbish go into the sea, lakes, drains and much more. the rubbish that goes into drains those drains are connected to the sewers and the sewers are connected to the sea that is how most rubbish gets into the sea others just get chucked into the sea.

How can we stop this plastic pollution?, there are all kinds of things on how we can stop it. One of them is to recycle you can use things and then use them again such as: tomato sauce if you use all the tomato sauce up then you can just wash it and put in some easier! 

I hope you know how you can stop this and what actually happens when you put rubbish into landfills. In Ahipara our dump is  close to the ocean so then when it is very windy they can blow away into the sea if we stop this know we can have a better future

One bad dream

One cold day Mia and Bruno we sitting by the fire while mother was making hot chocolate. Bruno stared out the window with tears in his eyes.what's the matter said Mia moving over to him ¨nothing ̈ as he wiped the tears out of his eyes.

Ok children here is your hot… mother stopped what was that she said in a scared voice. What was what Bruno said there was a big bang everything was quiet until bangggggggg! AAAAAAAAAAAAA! Mia started screaming.

After a while, they were up in the air mia! Mother cried Brunoooooo! Mia cried as she flew a different way. Bruno turned the other way to mother ̈mother are you ok ̈ as he saw mother trying hard to breath. Her only last words were ̈go save your sister.

So he did what mother said he was getting very high nearly into space. As he looked around he saw Mia floating below him he tried to slow down but he couldn't.

So he yelled out ̈take my hand¨ she stretched her arms and got ya. Bruno pulled mia into his arms and hugged her very tight as they got high into the sky it stopped. everything was back to normal AAAAAAAAAAAA! He woke up and saw himself in his own bed as well as Mia MOTHER! He yelled she came in yes! He ran up to her and hugged her tightly what was that for everything Bruno said in a quiet voice.

Why we should have homework

Homework is a good learning source so when you are in college you will get good grades. While you’re in primary school you should be learning at home for the future, homework is not that bad {in my opinion}.

Firstly homework is good for giving you more knowledge, it helps with thinking and memorizing.  Homework is great because you will be busy for the night and so it is easier for school if you practice.  Homework helps you to learn and develop good study habits which support a good future.

Studies show that homework helps students to achieve in terms of grades. Miss Lola says that homework is good but also stressful because you have just come home from a busy day at school then you have to do more work at home.Miss Rosean-bell says homework is a good practice for school and college.

Homework is very good for kids brain it makes you remember things at home for example if you have a math test you will remember what you 

Had learned in your homework.people say that it is stressful it is a bit but if you go home after a busy day you will have something to do.
